Community support

ARA recognises that many people in the broad Australian community are deeply concerned about government policy on refugees and asylum seekers. ARA seeks to enable members of the community to be accurately informed about refugee-related issues, and is committed to providing support for community members seeking to be personally involved in assisting refugees and asylum seekers.

New and Emerging Communities

Since ARA began in 1975 the Association has been a springboard for new and emerging communities helping them to form their own community organisations by providing practical support, advice, financial assistance, resources or office space.
